Paralympic Relay Touches Major Cities
The Paralympic torch relay continued today(Sep 1st) in Shanghai. The city represent the modern element of China, with Pang Jiaying, the Olympic swimming silver medalist bearers participating in the relay.

Paralympic Sailors Ready for Action
Registration for the Qingdao Paralympic sailing race is complete. 80 athletes from 25 countries are expected to participate in the event. The race will span from September 8th to 9th, and Sep 11th till 13th.
Paralympic Village Officially Opens Doors to World Athletic Delegations
The Paralympic Village officially opened its doors to athletic delegations from around the world last Saturday(Aug 30th). Located in what was Beijing's Olympic village, it is expected to be the temporary home for 7,383 guests, 4,099 of whom are athletes. The Chinese Paralympic delegation raised China's national flag during Saturday's ceremony, signaling the official residency of this year's 547 member delegation, the largest in Chinese history. The Village has been remodelled, covering 66 hectares, with barrier-free facilities so to ensure comfort and ease for Paralympic athletes. It will close on September 20.
