Paralympic Volunteers to Continue High Standard Services
Paralympic Games volunteers have acquired professional skills and received more training compared with the Olympic Games to ensure higher standards of services during Games time. Now more than 30 thousand are under a serious training and preparing for the opening of 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games.

Paralympics Tickets on Sale
At present, 80,000 tickets for 205 events are available either online at www.tickets.beijing2008.cn or through designated Bank of China outlets. This stage of ticket sales will initially involve 30 Bank of China sites in Beijing and two in Qingdao, with plans for additional sites to be added later. Interested persons, with valid identification, may visit Bank of China outlets during normal business hours to purchase tickets. Only cash or Visa cards will be accepted for payment. Please be aware that online ticket sales will end at 6:00 p.m. on September 14 and Bank of China outlets will stop selling tickets on September 17.
Paralympic Flame to Be Lit on August 28th
The Beijing Paralympic flame will be lit at the Temple of Heaven on August 28. From August 29 to September 6, it will tour 11 cities in China. The Volkswagen Group will offer 5 convoys of vehicles to follow the entire course of the Paralympics torch relay. Each group will consist of flame escorts, support staff and media representatives. The vehicles will operate 7 full hours every day. In addition, Volkswagen's technicians and staff are also ready to provide repair and maintenance services for the vehicles 24 hours a day.
