Yangjiang Nuclear Power Project to Start Construction

The nuclear power plant project in south-west Guangdong's Yangjiang city will start building the first power unit by the end of this year. An executive meeting, presided over by Premier Wen Jiabao, approved this 70 billion Yuan project on Wednesday. The first power generator is scheduled to be put into use in 2013.

SZ and HK Sign A Package of Agreements

A package of agreements has been signed between the Shenzhen and Hong Kong governments yesterday (November 13), involving the development of education, culture, environment protection and tourism in the Lok Ma Chau Loop area in Hong Kong and next to Shenzhen.
