The association predicts that the price could drop by around 0.1 Yuan per liter. The current retail price of LPG in Guangzhou is 4.05 Yuan per liter. However, wholesale prices have been going down since May but this hasn't yet been reflected on retail prices. Many drivers in Guangzhou have therefore gone back to consuming gasoline. In addition, Guangzhou CPPCC members have recently called for the cancellation of the additional 0.5 Yuan fuel surcharge fees in taxis.
