China's forex reserves reach $2.45 trillion
The People's Bank of China announced yesterday (July 11th), that China's foreign exchange reserves reached over $2.45 trillion by the end of June, up around 15 % year on year. However, statistics from the PBOC show that China's foreign exchange reserves only increased by $7.2 billion in the second quarter, a drastic decrease from Q4 of 2009 when reserves grew by $126.5 billion.

GD Still Very Hot this Week The Guangdong meteorological office forecast that over the next three days, the weather shall remain extremely hot with temperatures averaging 35 to 36 degrees in most parts of the province. They also said that it is likely a tropical cyclone will develop next week, which should bring rain by the next weekend, cooling the province down. Guangzhou today is sunny, in some parts slightly overcast, with temperatures ranging from 28 to 35 degrees.
