Most drivers asked if they could change the licence plate numbers on their cars. In response to this question, an official from the Guangzhou Communications Commission said:
"Special policies will be implemented. With these vehicle limitation measures in place, we will make relevant adjustments once we get the approval from the Public Security departments. "
