Over 20,000 Performances to be Presented at World Expo in Shanghai Over 20,000 performances will be presented during the 2010 World Expo which shall take place in Shanghai for 184 days. Presented by artists from all around the world, these performances will be free of charge. They include famous Spanish Flamenco dancing, performances from the well-known Russian Mariinsky Theatre, the London Philharmonic Orchestra and so on. Many of them will be performing in China or even Asia for the very first time.
GZ Automobile and Gonow Joint Hands Yesterday afternoon (26th), the Guangzhou Automobile Group and the Gonow Automobile Company from Zhejiang Province signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. The companies plan merge to create a new joint-venture so as to better share and allocate their resources. This is the first time in China's auto history that a state-run company merges with a private-owned one.

On the expo today I came across porcelain products manufactured in Shenzhen and they were very expensive. One flower vase was up for sale for 70,000 Yuan and a porcelain bowl for 3000 Yuan. The company's director Mr. Dong said:
" This year we have incorporated some innovated ideas into our products. We wanted Chinese culture to be obvious in our products, so that they are not just ordinary porcelains. I think we are selling culture more than the products themselves. Every company probably has the same desire to influence their customers. "
