Tour to North Korea Currently Not Attractive to Foshan Residents From today(April 12th), the democratic People's Republic of Korea is a tourist destination for Chinese group travelers. Guangdong is one of the nation's first ten Provinces and cities to launch tours to the DPRK. Today the city of Foshan had its first travel group heading there, but our reporter Luo Jiayi found that a trip to Pyongyang is not proving very attractive. There are now only six travel agencies in Guangdong that can issue visas to the DPRK. And there are no direct flights or trains heading there, leading to high travel costs. What's more, Zhou Jian from the largest travel agency in Foshan said, it will take time for people to choose to travel to the DPRK. "The local residents are responding a bit slowly to the new offer.
