Big LNG deal signals better Canberra ties The CNOOC (China National Offshore Oil Corporation) yesterday (24th) revealed to the public an agreement signed with the British Gas. According to the agreement, the CNOOC will purchase from British Gas 3.6 million tons of liquefied natural gas per year and this for the next 20 years.
