Part of GD Might Suffer from Droughts Due to Less Water Supply Data released by the Guangdong Hydrological Bureau shows that in the first half of March, the 32 key reservoirs across the Province hold nearly 4.3 billion cubic meters of water, that's 500 million cubic meters less than the same period last year. Although Guangdong is expecting rain before mid April, the overall precipitations will be lower than previous years. What's more, due to the drought in the southwest of China, the water level of the Xijiang River will also be considerably lower. Parts of Guangdong, in particular western and northern parts, will probably experience droughts later this spring.

More Airhostesses Wanted By China Southern Airlines China Southern Airlines announced yesterday (Mar 22nd) a large recruitment campaign for 1000 airhostesses, the largest of its kind in China's aviation history. The company will also be the first airline in Chinese mainland to hire airhostesses from Taiwan.
GD's Real Estate Development Rebounds Since the beginning of 2010 there has been a rapid growth in the number of housing communities under construction. The Guangdong Statistics Bureau announced that in the first two months of 2010, construction started on nearly 16 million square meters of apartments, a considerable rise of 83% compared with the first two months of 2009.
