GD's NPC Delegation of Members Fly to Beijing Today
The two national legislative conferences, the NPC and the CPPCC will commence this week. This morning a delegation of members of the Guangdong National People's Congress(NPC) flew to Beijing. They will present proposals and suggestions reflecting issues facing the Province of course, but also matters of more common concern.

 200,000 "Honda Accord" Produced in GD
With the launch of the eighth generation of the HONDA ACCORD from the assembly line yesterday afternoon in Guangzhou, the company also marked its 200,000th car manufactured in Guangzhou so far. The company is the largest in Guangdong, and the fourth in the China to produce over 200,000 cars.

Guangdong's GDP in 2008 exceeds Saudi Arabia
According to a Report on the Overall Competitiveness of China's Provincial -level Economy from 2008 to 2009, Guangdong's GDP in 2008 exceeded that of Saudi Arabia, Argentina and South Africa, and taken alone could reach the 16th place among the G20 nations. This latest bluebook also points out that apart from Guangdong, the GDP of Jiangsu, Shandong and Zhejiang have also surpassed some G20 countries and the average GDP of Shanghai would even place the city in the 12th position.
