The Guangdong Government yesterday (8th) issued a new plan to deal with air pollution in the PRD which became effective immediately in an attempt to hold greener Asian Games and the 2011 University Games. What's more, according to the plan, this year car emissions in the PRD have met all four national targets and that much earlier than other provinces.

Our reporter Wang Jianping visited the flower markets in an attempt to understand what these markets will be offering this year. This year is the year of the Tiger and the city will host the 2010 Asian Games. Our reporter found the main entrance archways mainly decorated with tiger and Asian Games-related elements. A citizen surnamed Zhao told us: "The tiger and the Asian Games design go well together."
