Automatic Toll Fee Collection to be the Mainstream

On roads across the province, the Guangdong government this year will continue to set-up and on a larger scale automatic toll machines. The provincial traffic authority plans to dismantle 25 toll fee gates on several major expressways and replace them with automated machines. Already today, Yuetong card holders can use the automated toll machines in Guangzhou and   stretching to various destinations in western Guangdong. By 2011, all toll machines across the province will be using the same card system, increasing security for those working at toll gates by avoiding the use of large amounts of cash.
