BRT to be Put into Operation for Ten Days Next Wednesday
Beginning next Wednesday (Feb.10th), the bus rapid transit (BRT) will be put into use for ten days on a trail basis and citizens can use the new service for free. The Guangzhou communications commission yesterday announced that tonight (Feb. 4th) and on Sunday (Feb 7th), there will be drills and rectifications on the BRT system if necessary. There will be 31 BRT bus routes which shall start running on the BRT exclusive roads.

The Guangzhou Railway Group has announced that for people wishing to travel on the Wuhan-Guangzhou high speed railway line, they may book their tickets up to 20 days prior to departure, instead of 10 days currently.

Tainted Milk found in Break in Guangzhou
A bread manufacturer in Conghua was found to be using toxic milk powder in the current crackdown on tainted milk in Guangzhou. The Guangzhou Health Department yesterday announced that the breads were not on sell in the center of Guangzhou, a statement obviously not very reassuring for those living on the outskirts of the city.
