Revised Government Report Emphasizes Building More Low-Rent Houses

Building additional low-rent houses has been an important addition to the government report. Ms. Ye Lizhen, a member of the Guangzhou NPC pointed out that some residents can't even afford to buy the government's economical house.
"In the future additional low-rent houses should be made available for those who can not afford to buy a house. The government should take this group of people into consideration and it is the government's responsibility to do so."
Lang's Women's Volleyball squad wins the US Team
Evergrande Volleyball Club, Guangdong's professional women's volleyball team yesterday (Feb. 2nd) won 3:0 against the U.S. young training women's team on a trip to China. The exhibition match lasted 2 hours and was held at the Guangzhou Gymnasium. Chinese Volley legend Lang Ping, current coach of Evergrande, was previously the US team from 2005-2008, helping it win silver at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

250,000 AH1N1 Vaccines Available in GZ
Currently people living in Guangzhou can receive the AH1N1 vaccine free of charge in local health centers. 250,000 vaccines are available across the city ahead of the Spring Festival which the Guangzhou Disease Control Bureau believes will bring a new outbreak of AH1N1.
