GD's 10 Construction Projects in Wenchuan Completed
This morning in Sichuan, in Wenchuan County, a delegation of members from Guangdong's CPC held the handing-over ceremony of the 10 completed construction projects to Wenchuan inhabitants. Ever since the tragic earthquake which took place last year, Guangdong has allocated 8.2 billion Yuan to help rebuild the county, covering areas such as housing, education, hygiene, water-supply, social welfare and so on.

GD Delegation Sets Out for Chongqing to Promote Trade
Today, a Guangdong economic and trade delegation set out for Chongqing to seek more business opportunities. Composed of 1000 people from 450 enterprises, the delegation will sign agreements with Chongqing and hold a meeting to promote Guangdong, hopefully attracting more investment into Guangdong from the western city.

2009 Guangzhou Design Week Kicks off
The 2009 Guangzhou Design Week kicked off on today at the Jinhan Exhibition Center. Attracting over 300 exhibiting companies from all around the world, this year's event focuses on Israeli designers with seminars and a special "Israel Day" to open the event. The exhibition this year looks into Guangzhou's innovative industry, business operation modes and personnel training. The Guangzhou Design Week is an annual international event for the promotion of innovation and design organized by the municipal government. It has become the most influential, exclusive, popular and largest annual event in the Chinese design industry.
