HK / Shenzhen / GZ / Zhuhai Rank in Top 10 Cities with Most Investment Potential
The top 200 most charming cities in China for 2009 were announced in Beijing recently. For the cities with the most investment potential Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Zhuhai ranked in the top 10, respectively 5th, 8th, 9th and 10th place. That fact that 4 cities are part of the same economic zone, that is the Greater PRD economic zone is extremely rare.

GD Delegation Sets out for Korea, Japan and Thailand
A delegation led by the secretary of the Guangdong CPC Committee, Wang Yang, set off from Guangzhou on a friendly visit to Korea, Japan and Thailand yesterday (Nov 1st), having been invited by the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Commerce, the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Thai government. Guangzhou CPC Committee Secretary Zhu Xiaodan and Guangdong vice-Governor Wan Qingliang are also part of the delegation.

Cold Front Hits GD
Last night, a strong cold front entered Nanhai Sea from the north causing strong winds of up to gale force 6 and a heavy drop in temperatures across Guangdong. From today until Wednesday, temperatures will drop dramatically to as low as 3 degrees in the north of the province. Today in Guangzhou the weather is sunny with temperatures ranging from 15 to 23 degrees.
