Wang Yang to Lead Delegation to Visit Japan The secretary of the Guangdong CPC Committee, Wang Yang, is soon to lead a delegation to Japan so yesterday in Guangzhou, he met with several Japanese journalists. During the interview, Wang explained the aim of the delegation's upcoming visit to Japan: to learn from Japan's successful experiences in industrial upgrade, education, culture, social management, and urban construction, as well as to promote cooperation between the two sides. A/H1N1 Flu Vaccines Start Free Inoculation in GZ and Shenzhen Today Today (Oct 30th), the A/H1N1 vaccination campaign started in Guangzhou and Shenzhen. During the upcoming month, doctors, students, disease researchers, police, customs officials and other public servants have the priority over others to receive the vaccine. Later the vaccine shall be given to the rest of the population and by March next year, around 5 million people in Guangdong will be protected from that variety of the flu. An official from the Health Ministry said that with autumn approaching more people are likely to contract the virus and currently 80% of flu cases are the A/H1N1 flu.

Emmy Award Winner Shares Documentary Filmmaking Experience at Radio GD Yesterday (Oct 29th) at the Radio Guangdong building, a seminar on American documentary filmmaking was held. Emmy award winner, Jeffrey Lyman, was at the seminar and sharing his experiences and explaining his methods. The seminar was organized by Southern Media Corporation.
