Wang Encourages In-depth Regional Cooperation in Western GD Yesterday(Sept 28th) Secretary of Guangdong CPC Committee Wang Yang suggested in Zhanjiang that four cities in Western Guangdong can learn from the practice of Guangzhou- Foshan integration, to deepen the inter-city cooperation. Wang Yang said, "To strengthen regional cooperation, we encourage the four cities can unite together to tackle the issues of the industrial development, traffic, communication and logistics." The Guangdong Government and the Guangdong CPC Committee held meetings in 4 cities in Western Guangdong to examine their progress being carried out on government policies such as the dual transfer policy. The meetings lasted for four days and concluded yesterday(Sep 27th) in Zhanjiang, the last stop of the meetings.
China welcomes more foreign experts to participate in country's development Vice Premier Li Keqiang said yesterday(Sept 27th), that China will welcome more foreign experts to participate in the country's economic and social development. Li made the remarks while addressing a reception on the eve of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. He also said, that "The development and achievements China made in the past 60 years have been the result of the united efforts of the Chinese people of all ethnic groups, together with the hard work and dedication of numerous foreign experts". Around 1,800 foreign experts and Chinese officials attended the reception.
