Trade Volume between GD and ASEAN Rises since 8 Months
According to the latest figures released by the provincial custom, the trade volume of import and export between Guangdong and the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) totaled 5.56 billion USD in August, up only 0.03% compared to the same period last year. Although small, this is the first rise since last November. The trade volume between Guangdong and ASEAN totaled 37.43 billion USD from January to August leading ASEAN to become Guangdong's forth largest trade partner.

Air Force Rehearses over Tian'anmen Square
The air force was rehearsing yesterday (Sep 21st) over Tian'anmen square in preparation for the 60th National Day celebrations. 12 units consisting of over 100 planes participated in the rehearsal. This air parade is said to surpass the 1999 "Millenium Parade" in terms of scale.

China Southern Airlines Adds Flights during National Holidays
China Southern Airlines will operate more flights of the National Day Holidays to handle the surge in the number of passengers. Over 1,100 additional flights will operate from the 29th of this month until October 8th. Most of these additional flights are towards popular tourist destinations such as Sanya, Haikou, Wuhan, Changsha, Chongqing and so on.
