Typhoon "Koppu" to Hit GD Tomorrow Morning
The 15th tropical storm this year, named "Koppu" will hit Guangdong early tomorrow morning (Sep 15th) on the coastal areas between Taishan and Wuchuan. The meteorological center predicts that as the storm draws near, winds will strengthen to reach gale force 5 - 7 and heavy rain will affect the Pearl River Estuary and western Guangdong starting tonight.

First A/H1N1 Vaccines to be Free
Last night (Sep 13th) the Guangdong Health Department revealed that the first batch of A/H1N1 vaccines will arrive in Guangdong in a few days' time and the free vaccination scheme will soon begin. Currently the authorities are working on the scheme deciding the order of people to receive vaccination.

Applications to Show at, Expo Central China 2009 Exceed Plan
Expo Central China 2009 will be held in Hefei, Anhui Province on the 22nd of this month and its organizer yesterday (Sep 13th) revealed that they have received  16% more applications from exhibitors than the amount of booths available. A total of 4500 booths will be set up for the exhibition and more than 300,000 buyers are expected to visit the event this year.

Changchun Donates 7 Cars to Guangzhou Asian Games
The city of Changchun in Ji'ning province today (Sep 14th) donated to Guangzhou 7 cars to be used during the Asian Games. Guangzhou vice-Mayor Xu Ruisheng received the keys to the cars on behalf of the organizing committee.
