National Holiday and Mid-autumn Day coming, Restaurant Booked Up With Mid-autumn Day around the corner and falling the same week as the 60th National Holiday, most restaurants have received plenty of bookings from families planning big gatherings. People in Guangzhou take Mid-autumn dinner as an important tradition and some big restaurants have seen many of their tables booked for family dinners, with prices going from 1000 to 5000 RMB approximately. A restaurant manager told us: "our rooms have all been booked as well as 50% of tables in the lobby." According to the restaurant, prices will remain similar to those of last year, but they do expect people to spend more money on food as the economy seems to be a little better than the same time last year, right at the beginning of the financial crisis, when many things were still unsure.
