State Council: Check Community Cross-Infection to Check A/H1N1
At a state council work meeting yesterday (Sep 7th), measures to protect against A/H1N1 in the upcoming autumn and winter were laid out. These measures include preventing community outbreaks and continuing to strictly monitor the boarders. Emphasis was put on regularizing these measures.

Chen ChaoRen: 106th Canton Fair to Expect Greater Transaction Volume
The Canton Fair Vice-Secretary, Chen ChaoRen, said yesterday (Sep 7th) that he expects there will be more people visiting the upcoming 106th Canton Fair and that the transaction volume shall be greater than last session, in light of the fact that China's economy is reviving and both domestic and foreign buyers are confident. The 106th Canton Fair, with over 55,000 booths, will be held from 15th Oct to 4th November.

Guangzhou-Foshan Shopping Festival Opens Next Thursday
The Guangzhou-Foshan "Golden Autumn" Shopping Festival will open next Thursday (Sep 17th) in ShunDe, Foshan. Over 10,000 merchandisers will participate in the exhibition and discounts will amount to a total of 1 billion Yuan. The month-long exhibition will end on 10th October.
