Foshan Mayor, Chen Yunxian, asked Fan Hengshan from the National Development and Reform Commission:
"In addition to transportation what could Guangzhou and Foshan focus on to push forward the integration?"
"The integration should be more market-oriented and allow a free flow of human resources."

GZ and Hong Kong Explore In-depth Cooperation In Modern Service Industry
It might be Guangzhou's next trial: to set-up the Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Macao cooperation experimental zone. The announcement was made by Guangzhou mayor Zhang Guangning yesterday at a meeting with representatives from Hong Kong to explore in-depth cooperation in the modern service industry. The mayor claims to have thought of the idea in a bid to enhance cooperation with Hong Kong in terms of scientific innovation, service outsourcing, creative industry and the port logistics. What's more, Hong Kong banks are encouraged to open more branches across Guangzhou.
