More Consulate Offices to Make Presence in Guangzhou
According to the provincial Foreign Affairs office, this year the numbers of foreign consulates in Guangzhou is expected to exceed 40. South American countries, including Ecuador and Argentina, are now looking for space to rent. Brazil, Peru, Chili and Yemen are also accelerating preparations to establish offices in Guangzhou.

No Fluctuation on Housing Prices Expected
The latest economic data shows that in the first half of this year, Guangdong saw a nearly 50% increase in the transaction of housing areas. Some real estate experts point out that although the current housing transactions show a rise in the numbers of houses and prices, the property prices will remain stable.

Hot Weather Continues in GD
Finally, the weather. The hot wave the province has been going through doesn't look like its going to pass anytime soon. Although showers expected, temperatures of 37 degrees are predicted tomorrow (Aug 20th). Guangzhou in the upcoming two days will stay hot with temperatures ranging around 35 to 36 degrees.
