China's Export Looking Good A spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce revealed yesterday (Aug 17th) that China's export situation is looking good and that the monthly export volume could possibly see an increase before the end of the year. The ministry pointed out that this prediction was based on the fact that China has been exporting more and more mechanical and electrical products and that domestic enterprises have been getting more orders.
GD could See New Surge of Flu The Guangdong Health Department said yesterday (Aug 17th) that next month could see a new surge in the number of A/H1N1 flu patients. The authorities warn the population to stay alert as with the beginning of September, the weather in Guangdong will start to cool down allowing the virus to better proliferate.
Tibetan Art Delegation in GZ Last night (Aug 17th), an art delegation from Tibet gave art amateurs in Guangzhou a very lively Tibetan music and dance performance presenting Tibetan culture.
