China Union Pay Service Effective in Taiwan
Starting today (Aug 7th), Chinese mainland tourists visiting Taiwan can use their China Union Pay in over 70,000 shops. Unfortunately, for the time being, cash withdrawal services are still not available.

New Measures to be Launched in GZ to Facilitate Financing
Guangzhou will launch new measures to facilitate the financing of small and medium-size enterprises (SME). These measures feature the exemption of the registration deposit and the issue of company bonds. Attracting funds from the public is also one of the new measures being launched as well as organizing qualified enterprises to be listed on the stock market.


Imported Milk Powder Expands its market in Guangdong
According to the provincial customs, in the first half of this year, Guangdong imported 33,000 tons of milk powder, 3 times more compared to the same period last year. Imports mainly come from New Zealand and Australia. Foreign milk powder manufacturers expanded their share of China's market after last year's melamine scandal.

First Energy Forum for Asia to Open in Guangzhou
The first "Energy Forum Asia" will open in Guangzhou on Sunday (Aug. 9) with Wu Jianmin, the former Chinese Ambassador to France acting as secretary general. 600 enterprises, experts and big names from Asian countries and regions are to attend the forum. The theme of this year's forum is "Energy Revolution: Growth, Green and Cooperation".

China-made Airbus Delivered to Shenzhen Airlines
The first Airbus A320 made-in-China was delivered to Shenzhen Airlines yesterday. The factory is located in Tianjin and is the only Airbus assembly line outside of Europe. The plane made its first commercial flight on the Shenyang-Wuhan-Shenzhen route today.
