GD Supports the Processing Trade to Upgrade The Guangdong Industry and Commerce Bureau has recently implemented supportive measures for original equipment manufacturers and enterprises that manufacture products on demand, whether it be processing raw materials or assembling products. The measures mainly target companies facing difficulties due to the industrial upgrade policies. One of the main measures recently issued allows companies to register with less capital than before.

Guangzhou Hino Motors' first heavy truck product to be listed next month The first series of Hino Motors' heavy trucks will make their debut on the market next month. According to Li Shao, vice-executive manager of the Guangzhou-Japanese company, the hino007 series will be priced at no more than 400,000 yuan, half the price of imported trucks. Over 800 changes have been made to the design of the trucks, making these vehicles the first in Guangzhou to have been locally designed and manufactured.
Chinese shares close slightly higher Chinese equities closed slightly higher today(July 28th) for the fifth consecutive day led by steel manufacturers. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index closed at 3,438 points. As for the Shenzhen Component Index, it ended at 13,836 points, up 93 points.
