GZ's Small-loan Trail Well Received It has been half a year now, since Guangzhou's first company providing small-loans opened in Yuexiu district. After starting as a trial, the company has offered loans worth over 26 million yuan to small and medium-sized entreprises (SME). The move was proven popular and is considered as a new way to solve financing difficulties for the SME. Our reporter Wang Jianping has the story: Ma Cong, the General Manager of the company told us: "Each day our company sees dozens of customers consulting us on financing issues. They are from a number of sectors, from services, to retail and even manufacturing. We usually prefer to provide loans to those from the service and retail sectors." The trial launch will offer statistics to the government so as to develop better platforms to finance SME.
GD to Embrace Hot Weather This Week Starting today (June 29th), the rain we've been experiencing these past few days will dry out as the tropical storm Nangka leaves the province and high temperatures will make their comeback during the week. Showers are expected in most of Guangdong today whilst Guangzhou will remain overcast with temperatures expected to reach a high of 32 degrees.
