Honduran President Says He was Kidnapped, Flown to Costa Rice After a coup yesterday (June 28th), Honduran President Manuel Zelaya said he had been kidnapped and flown to Costa Rica against his will and that he hadn't signed a letter of resignation. The authoritarian president was removed from office on Sunday afternoon just hours after some 200 soldiers surrounded his official residence and forced him to board a plane to Costa Rica. The country's congressional leader Roberto Micheletti was sworn in as the country's new President, but further developments are still to be expected.

GZ's AH1N1 Control Prevention Advised to Shift to Community The Guangdong Disease Control and Prevention Center advised yesterday (June 28th), that great efforts should be made to prevent further AH1N1 outbreaks in local communities. The Guangzhou Health Bureau said it had established a disease prevention and control system to handle the pending outbreak. More from our reporter, Luo Su. Ma Jianfen, an official from the Health Bureau said that although there hasn't yet been an outbreak in the community, the city is well prepared. "If there is an outbreak of AH1N1 in the community, we will handle the patients according to different degrees of symptoms. If they are not in danger, then they'll receive treatment at home or in the community. If their condition is serious, they will be referred to larger hospitals." As of yesterday, Guangdong has reported 19 new AH1N1 cases.
