The Ministry of Finance yesterday released a report regarding tax revenue generated in 2008. It claims that 3% tax payers earn a yearly income of over 120,000 yuan, and pay a total of over 129 billion yuan in tax. The report also stated that the minimum imposable income level will soon be adjusted.

The Asian Games for the Paralympics will be held between the 12^th and 19^th of December next year.An estimated 3000 athletes from 45 countries and regions will compete in 19 disciplines. According to the Organizing Committee of the Paralympics Games, the 25% reduction has been made in the number of competitors. The disciplines have also been cut.
