China's 2nd confirmed A/H1N1 flu patient discharged from hospital

China's second confirmed influenza A/H1N1 patient was discharged from hospital this morning after eight days of treatment in Jinan. Chen Shijun, the director of the Hospital where the patient was treated, confirmed that tests samples proved negative for A/H1N1 influenza virus on Monday. The patient was a 19-year-old Chinese student from a Canadian university who was home on vacation.




Guangdong's Disease Control Expert: Travelers Returning Home from Overseas Should Quarantine Themselves
After Guangdong reported its first case A/H1N1, He Jianfeng, an expert from the Guangdong Disease Prevention and Control Center suggested that travelers, when returning home, they should fill in the health declaration form with true information and in all honesty. What's more, he urged them to reduce the number of outing during the first seven days. And he also asked people to quarantine themselves at home.

GD Continues its Promotion Tour in Guangxi
A Guangdong trade-delegation is in Nanning, Guangxi Province today (May 19th). The 600-member delegation, will visit Guangxi and Hunan provinces to promote Made-in-Guangdong products and boost domestic demand, and is expecting to sign deals of over 10 billion yuan during the tour.
