One Case of Suspected A/H1N1 Found in GD The Ministry of Health reported this morning the first suspected case of A/H1N1 flu in Guangdong. The patient is a 59 years old man originally from Guangzhou but now living in Nanhai, a district of Foshan. He traveled to Canada at the end of April and came back to Guangzhou on May 15th. He developed the symptoms which include a sore throat and a dry cough on May 14th. He has now been put under quarantine by the authorities.

Guangdong and Thailand to Further Cooperation in Trade, Tourism, Agriculture This afternoon (May 18th), Guangdong Governor Huang Huahua met with the Thai Minister to the Prime Minister's Office, Dr Lirachai Lirametee Kul. Huang pointed out that Thailand is one of Guangdong's long-lasting partners, especially in areas such as trade, tourism and agriculture, and he expressed his hope for the two parties to pursuit their cooperation. Last year, Guangdong accounted for the largest number of tourists travelling to Thailand from China, with around 210,000 visitors.
New Version of Health Declaration Form Used in Zhuhai. Starting today (May 18th), all check points at Zhuhai's boarder are using the new version of the Entry and Exit Health Declaration Form, which emphasizes on the obligation of filling out the form with true information.
The Nation's First International Beer Museum Opens in GZ The Zhujiang-InBev International Beer Museum, the country's first international beer museum, open to the public yesterday(May 17th) in Guangzhou. Citizens can take a cruise tour down the Zhujiang river on a newly-launched travel route ending at Pazhou wharf, where you can get off to visit the museum. The museum tells the story of the development of the beer industry, from traditional hand-brewed beer to industrialized production. Visitors can also taste beer for free and participate in various interactive games.
