Schools to Conduct Morning Temperature Checks
The Ministry of Education announced yesterday (Apr 14th) that all schools and universities are to conduct morning temperature checks in order to prevent the spread of the A/H1N1 virus. The institutions are to report to relevant health departments within 2 hours should any suspicion arise, and students and staff absences are to be recorded and closely monitored.

Health Ministry Proves Wang Lao Ji Safe
Recent allegations accusing Wang Lao Ji of having added illegal additives into their famous herbal tea was refuted by the Health Ministry yesterday (Apr 14th). The Health Ministry pointed out that Wang Lao Ji herbal tea's ingredients had been legally put on record and the brand's products therefore can continue to be sold.


Shenzhen and Hong Kong New Positions Approved
Having been approved by the State Council, Shenzhen and Hong Kong are to move to a higher level of cooperation and development. The two regions will step up efforts to become a world centre for five industries, including finance, logistics and trade. They will also try to position themselves as centres of innovation and culture.
