Xiao Zhongrui, from the Board of Directors of the Guangdong Railway Construction Corporation presents the project: "Once the inter-city rail is open to traffic, it will offer residents living along the line a fast, convenient and safe means of public transport. This high-speed connection will link the east and the west of the PRD, greatly facilitating transportation for those traveling between Dongguan and Foshan, and Foshan to Zhaoqing."
