GD Still Popular for Travel After May Day Holidays End
Though the May Day Holidays have ended, Guangdong is not experiencing a dramatic drop in the numbers of residents signing up for travel. The latest data from Nanhu International Travel Agency, also known as Nanhu Guolv, shows that over 10,000 Guangdong residents were booked on tours yesterday and today respectively. Another large travel agency, Guangzhilv International Travel Service, also recorded rises in traveler numbers signing up for trips both within the province and to South East Asia, with nearly 50% and more than 80% growth compared with the same period last year. Nearly all of Guangdong travelers used two-days annual leave to make up the official holidays from three to five.
