Price of Meet and Vegetables Drop after Chinese New Year Holiday Statistics from Guangzhou's Price Control Administration indicated that the price of meat and vegetables has gradually been dropping since last week. According to the administration, the drop is due to sufficient supply, and the fact that people spend less after the Chinese New Year holiday. As for the price of rice, the current drought in the North of the country has had little influence on Guangdong's rice prices that have remained stable.
