Subsidies Allocated to Guangzhou's Rural Health Centers
Guangzhou's Bureau of Health revealed yesterday (Feb 17th) that rural health centers in Guangzhou will gradually receive subsidies equal to those in urban communities. Free outpatient services will be provided in some of rural areas, and network equipment will also be set up to facilitate their integration and information exchange with other Health Centers and their data bases.

Shenzhen to Use Energy-Saving Vehicles in Public Sectors
Shenzhen was announced yesterday (Feb 17th) to be one of the cities where energy-saving and new-energy driven vehicles are to be promoted. Along with other 12 cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Chongqing, these cities will receive financial support and subsidies from the central government for purchasing new-energy-driven vehicles. These new vehicles will be used in public sectors such as buses, taxis and postal services.

Price of Meet and Vegetables Drop after Chinese New Year Holiday
Statistics from Guangzhou's Price Control Administration indicated that the price of meat and vegetables has gradually been dropping since last week. According to the administration, the drop is due to sufficient supply, and the fact that people spend less after the Chinese New Year holiday. As for the price of rice, the current drought in the North of the country has had little influence on Guangdong's rice prices that have remained stable.
