Guangdong's Foreign Trade Enterprises to Receive 10 Billion USD Worth of Financial Support Yesterday (Feb 9th), the Guangdong Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and ICBC's guangdong branch co-signed a 10 billion US Dollar deal to support the development of Guangdong's foreign trade enterprises. The foreign trade and economic cooperation department will provide ICBC with guides and training to process its financial service and recommend high-quality foreign trade projects and foreign import-export enterprises.
Travel Rush to Let Up after Chinese New Year Ends Up until yesterday (Feb 9th)£¬the last day of the Chinese New Year, the Guangzhou Railway Group had recorded around 7.7 million passengers transiting on its network over the past 15 days, which is 8.2% more than last year. However, trains traveling within Guangdong carried around 4 million passengers, which is 2.3% less than last year. With the end of the Chinese New Year celebrations, the travel rush is now expected to weaken.
Three More Travel Agencies in Guangzhou to Provide Taiwan Packages The Guangzhou Tourism Bureau revealed yesterday (Feb 9th) that three more travel agencies will start providing tour packages to Taiwan. The three agencies are the Nanhu International Travel Agency, the Guangdong International Travel Agency, and CYTS Tours Guangdong Railway Company. Australian Bush Fire do not Affect Chinese Travelers The south-east of Australia has been experiencing severe bush fire but GZL International Travel Service has assured their itineraries don't overlap onto the affected area, and therefore tourists heading to Australia need not worry for the time being.
