Guangzhou Asian Games Town delivered for use
The Guangzhou Asian Games Town, the largest venue built especially for the Guangzhou Asian Game, is now completed and was delivered to the Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee yesterday afternoon (August 31). According to an auditing report submitted to the Guangzhou NPC standing committee, the investment in the Asian Games Town was 12.92 billion yuan, 3.7% less than the initial forecast.

Charity Show put on stage to collect funds for Para Games
A large-scale charity show will be put on stage at 8 PM this Friday (September 3) in Guangzhou's Tianhe Stadium to mark the 100th day countdown to the 2010 Asian Para Games. A press conference held yesterday (31st) afternoon revealed that disabled artists and other famous stars will perform. The show will be live broadcast on local TV channels and a donation activity will be organized to collect funds for the Games. Part of these will be used to sponsor the accommodation and transport costs for 5 athletes from each of the 41 participating countries and regions attending the event.

China Post will Issue Stamp to Commemorate 100-day Countdown to GZ Asian Para Games
Also to mark the 100-day countdown to the Guangzhou Asian Para Games, this Friday (3rd), China Post will issue a special stamp to commemorate the occasion. Its face value will be 1.20 Yuan.
