Houses in GZ Asian Games Town to be Sold Prior to the Opening
With property prices skyrocketing across Guangzhou, the new houses soon to be on sale in the Asian Games Town are sure to attract the attention of buyers. Located in southern Panyu, near Lotus Mountain, the houses in the Asian Games Town are scheduled to be sold prior to the commencement of the games. Insiders estimated that the initial public offer would be at around 7,000 to 8,000 yuan per square meter, but they did not rule out the possibility of an increase in prices in the future.

The Asian Swimming Championship to be Held in Foshan
The Eighth Asian Swimming Championship will be held in Foshan at the end of this month. This tournament involves three disciplines: swimming, diving and Synchronized Swimming. Athletes from 19 countries and regions will take part in the event including Liu Zige, the 2008 Beijing Olympic Winner. The tournament is to serve as a test run for the city which shall be hosting the 2010 Asian Games' swimming competitions.

Road of Asia Arrives in Korea
The Road of Asia, GAGOC's promotional campaign travelling throughout Asia arrived in Korea yesterday to visit the city of Incheon which shall host the Asian Games in 2014. Ms. Zhang Liulin led the delegation and presented to the 2014 Incheon organizing committee the progress and work underway for the Guangzhou Asian Games.
