Shenzhen Holds Fairs overseas to Recruit Talents
Shenzhen will recruit more overseas talents by holding recruitment fairs abroad. Major city officials will set off on a trip for this purpose tomorrow (9th). They will arrange 3 recruitment fair in Silicon Valley and Los Angeles in the USA and Tokyo in Japan. This time, Shenzhen enterprises and educational institutions will offer over 2,600 posts and 153 of them with an annual salary of over 1 million yuan.

Guang-Fo Metro Line Gearing up for Final Test Run
Part of the Guangzhou-Foshan Metro Line has been completed and 8 trains have arrived. More trains are expected to come within this month and a test run will be conducted of this section at the end of September. Currently engineers are still examining these trains. The Guangzhou-Foshan metro line will open partly this November, ahead of the Guangzhou Asian Games.
New Tropical Storm Moves towards Eastern Guangdong
This year's 10th tropical storm has been forming over the sea southeast of Taiwan and is moving west at a speed of 10-16 kph. It is expected to reach eastern Guangdong within 24 hours and the Guangdong Meteorological Bureau has issued an emergency warning. Later tonight and tomorrow (9th), Eastern Guangdong and the PRD can expect to see occasional rain and rainstorms.
GZL International Travel Service Clears up Rumour
In light of the rumour saying the former director of the Guangzhou International Travel Service, Zheng Hong, was under investigation due to possible bribery, today (8th) the company's marketing director, Wen Qian, said it was groundless. He didn't however give any evidence of this. So far the rumour hasn't affected the company's operations and they are launching new promotions for trip over the National Day Holidays.
