Nanhu Suspends Cebu tours for 4 weeks
Nanhu Travel agency yesterday (August 26) announced it shall suspend its chartered flights to Cebu island in the Philippines for 4 weeks beginning September 1st. This action came after agencies in Guangdong decided to suspend tours to Manila on Tuesday in response to a bus hijacking that killed 8 Hong Kong tourists and has led to many Cantonese people reluctant to travel to the country. Financially unviable for the time-being, Nanhu is the first company in Guangdong that fully suspends tours to the Philippines but tourists who have signed up for trips to Cebu can get their money back or choose to change departure day or travel destination.
