GD Enterprises Invest 40 million USD in Taiwan
At the Taiwan-Guangdong Week that kicked off yesterday (17th) in Taipei, 3 companies from Guangdong signed 3 contracts to invest on the island, which will involve a total amount of 40 million USD. This marked the first step for Guangdong's enterprises to invest in Taiwan. Of these 3 companies, two are in the electronics industry and the other is a Guangzhou pharmaceutical company.

Some Nail Varnish Found to Contain Excessive Amount of Cancerous Methanol
The Consumer Council of Hong Kong recently announced several brands of nail varnish containing 20 times the authorized limit in methanol, a chemical known to be cancerous. One of these brands is Korean, known as "Skin Food", which is also on sale in Guangzhou's Grand View Plaza in Tianhe.
